The Word- 2/10/2016

Hi everyone!! Thanks once again for all your hard work and enthusiasm we truly appreciate it–let’s carry that over into this upcoming holiday week 🙂

Holiday Weekend

We have a break in our multi-week programs for this upcoming President’s weekend.(minus D-Team coaches) It should be another busy but fun weekend! Remember, the Tye Creek Deli is still serving breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning for employees from 7:30-10:00am.

Holiday Mid-Week Help?

We are still looking for a few more coaches to help out this coming week and in particular Wednesday, Feb 17th for an event with Facebook. Even if you are only available for the morning that’s okay too…let us know!

Warm up those vocal chords…

We understand that things happen and occasionally you will need to call in sick or let us know you are running late. Please remember that when this happens there are two ways to let us know:

Calling or texting individual supervisors doesn’t help the message gets to where it needs to be! Oh, and also we are going to enforce a rule. If you are late to a line-up, the least you can do is make everyone smile when you do arrive. Late arrivals will be asked to come prepared with a song or dance (or both) to share to the group.

What Comes Before Part-B? PART-AY!

We’re planning a party for Saturday, Feb 20th to celebrate hitting over 3,000 return students and to sign-off the holiday week! We’d like to have a themed day, dress-up and pot-luck food. We’d love to hear your ideas, please let us know by the end of this weekend if you’ve got any suggestions.

Holiday Freestyle

George would want you to hit the park on his birthday weekend. 3:30pm Freestyle clinics Saturday and Sunday. Come learn progressions for new tricks and new features. Groups for basic and not so basic tricks. Big park and small. Sign up in RTP.

“Mr. Cardenas was awesome! He truly wanted his students to improve and learn good habits.”

“Stevens hands down has the best ski school operations. Other mountains make parents go through two hours of lines, forms, rentals and waiting hell. We also love the small ratio of instructor to kid. All this and more keeps us coming back when other mountains are closer. ”

“I think her name was Kat- she was an awesome instructor and very supportive. ”

“Wife and daughter took lesson with Ken, who was splendid. Small class, high level of instruction. Much improvement after a bit of practice. Never felt rushed, but as mentioned earlier, the area was very congested and this made learning to turn and stop challenging, especially as the snow turned to ice later in the day. ”

“Jason Luck was the best!! Hope I get him on my second lesson!”

“Trent G was fantastic and very friendly. Helped me learn a lot in a very short time.”

“Hannah Ulm was a great instructor and the first one who was actually able to help me figure out what the problem was and why I was having so much difficulty mastering turns.”
