Hello all! It’s hard to believe March has already come and gone this quickly…
SSS End of Season Party!
It’s a party!!! Our Ski + SB School celebration will be this coming Saturday, March 26th around 3:30pm. We will do a BBQ and announce the award winners for the season. Don’t forget to submit your ballot before this Friday in the locker room. Looks like Saturday is shaping up to be a sunny spring day- hope you all can make it. Tis the season for parties… mark your calendars for the all employee end of season party- Friday, April 8th from 5-8pm in the Granite Peaks Lodge- dinner, awards, and a raffle for all employees and family/dependents! There will also be an employee ride day for family/dependents Thursday, April 14th from Noon-4pm! The ballot is listed below to fill out and return to HR.

Under each category please describe why you chose the person you did. The more detail and examples of why your nominee deserves the award, the more it will help us determine who is most deserving of the recognition.

End of Season Calendar
The week of April 4th will be our last week of full mountain operations. Afterwards, the mountain will be open for the last weekend of the winter April 15th – 17th (Fri- Sun).
This upcoming weekend, March 26-27th will be the last weekend for overnight parking at Yodelin. After this weekend, overnight parking will be in Lot D ONLY in between the black steel poles.
Congrats- Alpine Level 1 Grads
Congratulations to our most recent PSIA Alpine Level 1 grads from last weekend! Alicia Brannan, Mike Spurrell, and Trent Grimm– way to be awesome instructors! Good luck to those taking exams this upcoming weekend. These 3 instructors would be a great resource for any exam anxiety and questions you have.
The Training Report
Every certified member of the NW Division is required to attend at least one educational event each season. Stevens Pass is bringing in PSIA-NW divisional staff members for day clinics in April. Snowboarders are Saturday April 9th and Skiers are Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 17th. Be sure to request the day off and sign up in RTP right away, space in these clinics is limited.
Level 1 exams for ski and snowboard this Saturday, March 26th
Meet in the locker room at 8:00am and we will find a spot in the lodge to deal with the paperwork before we go out on snow.
Rippin’ Rascals- Snowboard Coaches Wanted
We are currently looking for a few more snowboard coaches that are interested in helping out for our Rippin’ Rascals weekend, April 2nd- 3rd. This program is for 3-6 year old mini shredders starting snowboarding and going through the riglet park. Let us know if you are interested!
