Intent to Return
Hopefully, you told us in the spring or over the summer that you were coming back. If you didn’t, you will need reach out to us. Once I have expressed my intent to return what do I need to do to be hired?
Receive a Welcome Back Email
You will be reactivated around the start of November, before our Welcome Back training! Shortly after that, you will receive an email from Vail Human Resources with instructions for logging into the new EpicEmployee site (you will no longer use the Alumni Site while you are an active employee). Once you are active, follow the instructions below to activate your pass and complete the necessary training on The LIFT.
Single Sign-On
Once you become active in our system, you will receive an email from our Human Resources department (HR) to set up your MFA – Multifactor Authentication and SSO Single Sign On. It sets you up with a Vail email address and a password to log in to a site called http://MFA.vailresorts.com
This will give you access to Epic Employee. The Epic Employee is a “dashboard” or central access point designed to make it easier to have access to all Vail Resorts systems. Here is a How To video that can help you set up your MultiFactorAuthentication (MFA)
*Dowloading the Epic Employee App to your phone is also helpful.

- Enter Basic Personal Tax Exemption (optional)
- Update your Direct Deposit Information
- Update your Benefits – do this within the first 30 days of being activated!
Online Training
HR will send you an email to complete your required training. This will take place in our online training platform called the LIFT, which you can access through your Epic Employee website or App. Select “My Training & Development” Once you are in, you should see the online training that has been assigned to you.
